Six Month Travel Snapshot
The first six months of Windrose Travel Co. have been incredibly rewarding. I’ve had the opportunity to plan 56 trips already, and it’s given me a great pulse on where people are going—and how they want to travel right now.
Here’s a quick snapshot of what I’ve been seeing.
Where Clients Have Been
Recent trips have ranged from international to closer-to-home getaways, including:
Group trip to New Bern
South Korea
Peru
Caribbean (both cruises and land trips)
Florida (Pictured) and other U.S. cities
There’s been a noticeable mix of bigger international trips alongside easy, well-planned domestic travel.
Where Clients Are Headed Next
The next three months are shaping up to be especially strong for Europe and bucket list destinations.
Upcoming trips include:
Viking River Cruises
France and Italy (Paris, Florence, Sorrento)
Ireland (Dublin, Killarney, Galway)
Croatia (Dubrovnik, Split) (Pictured)
Prague
Peru (Cusco, Lima)
Alaska cruises
Caribbean Cruises
Lake Louise and Glacier National Park
There are also a couple of group trips closer to home in Ocracoke and Beaufort, NC—something I’ve really enjoyed planning more of!
What I’m Seeing Right Now
A few trends that have been consistent:
Planning earlier, especially for Europe
More experience-driven travel, less rushing between stops
Convenience matters—great locations and seamless logistics
Europe continues to lead, particularly Italy, France, and Croatia
A Quick Personal Note
On my end, I’ve spent time in Europe, New York, Charleston, and a few coastal destinations over the past few months, which helps me stay current on what’s truly worth recommending.
I also have several trips coming up—including Japan, Portugal, France and Spain—which I’m especially excited about! Thinking about one of these destination? Ask me about them!
Looking Ahead
I’m currently planning trips for the rest of 2026 and beginning to look into 2027.
If there’s somewhere you’ve been thinking about, now is a great time to start the conversation.
Let’s start planning your trip.
